On Feb. 4, the ongoing Iraqi refugee crisis was the topic of the second in a series of panel discussions sponsored by Intersections’ ChangeTheStory.net Project. Panelists included media branding expert Michael Jordan; journalist Charity Tooze; artist Kim Schultz; and Intersections’ C. Intersections Raises Awareness of the Iraqi Refugee Crisis

In November 2008, C. Eduardo Vargas was an invited speaker at a panel discussion on the Iraqi humanitarian crisis at Columbia University. The panel entitled, “Iraq’s Displaced: The Challenge For The Next U.S. Administration,” was hosted by  The Humanitarian Affairs Program at the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University and the New York Consortium for Security and Humanitarian Action. The panel also featured prominent speakers from such organizations as Human Rights Watch, International Rescue Committee, The List Project, and UNHCR.

In January 2009, Project Manager, C. Eduardo Vargas was interviewed on the weekly podcast series, Conversation on Diplomacy and Power Politics and shared background information and policy prescriptions on the looming Iraqi refugee crisis. To listen to his interview, click here.
