Intersections International, a multi-cultural, multi-faith organization based in New York City. Intersections is dedicated to building respectful relationships among diverse individuals and communities to develop strategies that promote justice, reconciliation, and peace.
Megan Hoelle, Director of Strategic Initiatives
Executive Producer
Megan Hoelle provides strategic support and program guidance for Intersections’ Initiatives. She is also the project director for the Iraqi Voices Amplification Project. Hoelle joined Intersections in 2007 and spent two years as the Director of Communications and Program Development, where she established the organizations online and external brand. Before coming to Intersections, Hoelle worked on the United Church of Christ’s award-winning “God is Still Speaking” Identity campaign. Hoelle also has a Master’s in Public Health and has developed workshops and educational programs around sexual health, HIV prevention and LGBT issues.
C. Eduardo Vargas, Project Manager, Public Policy and Advocacy Program
Coordinating Producer
C. Eduardo Vargas oversees Intersections’ Iraqi Voices Amplification Project, and organized the Cost of War lecture series that examined the often-overlooked human costs of the global war on terror. He authors articles and policy reports on the plight of Iraqi and other refugees, and coordinates advocacy to legislative offices in Washington, D.C. Vargas is a frequent speaker on the cost of war and other issues of social justice. His background includes international policy and program research and analysis.
Jeremy Karafin, Associate Producer
Jeremy Karafin is the Artistic Director of Poetic Theater Productions and the Program Associate for DNAWORKS (Dialogue and Healing through the Arts). He founded and produced the first three seasons of the Kinetic Poetics Project, an annual spoken word and poetry festival on the west coast now in its 8th season. Recent producing credits include: One Brave Thing, March ForWord and Love, Redefined at the Wild Project, See Something…Say Something at the Tank and The Leak at Co-Lab Arts. Previously he was the Assistant Director of Student Media and the Television Broadcast Adviser at the University of California, Santa Cruz. He has also worked with the Penguin Repertory, Houses on the Moon Theater Company, Shakespeare Santa Cruz, and Rainbow Theatre.

Parlagreco Productions, Producer
Joseph Parlagreco is a producer, cinematographer, director, decorated Coast Guard veteran, and president and founder of Parlagreco Productions and Filmworks. Joe has served as producer and cinematographer on films, documentaries, and commercials, including the award-winning films Every Three Minutes (starring Olympia Dukakis) and Personal Assistant (starring Kathie Lee Gifford), both produced for Showtime Networks. Commercial projects include spots for New York Comedy Festival, Expedia, Lukoil, and Coffee-mate. His 2003 feature documentary Call Me Malcolm has been seen in 45 cities and five countries, and been featured in over a dozen film festivals to date.
In addition to film and television, Joe’s theatre experience ranges from performing onstage in San Francisco to producing the sold out run of “The Continuing Adventures of Dick Danger” in NYC in 2002. He credits his abilities to run an impeccable front of house and backstage environment to his years of working with Bill Graham Presents, where he worked with many legendary acts such as The Rolling Stones, The Grateful Dead, and Fleetwood Mac.
Aaron Louis & 3-Legged Dog, Producer

Aaron Louis (Producer) is the Producing Director at 3LD Art & Technology Center and a founding member of the film and theatre production company AVILES STREET PRODUCTIONS, whose last project was the feature film THINGS THAT HANG FROM TREES. The film premiered at the MoMA and Lincoln Center in the NYC Film Society festival New Directors/New Films, and won “Best Film” in Corto Imola International Film Festival (Bologna, Italy) and “Best American Independent” in Troia International Film Festival. (Lisbon, Portugal). The film received nationwide DVD distribution by Radio London Films in 2007. Aaron Louis is also the author of a number of books including the Southern Gothic novella THINGS THAT HANG FROM TREES and the screenplay for the film adaptation. Aaron was the in-house booking agent for four live music venues in central Florida: Up & Atom, Black-Eyed Susan, The Main Street Pier, and The Underground, producing over 1000 shows with regional and national bands. Aaron was also the owner of Galaxie 500, a live music venue and performance space in Northern Florida. Recent NYC Producer credits include the premier of Marielle Heller’s THE DIARY OF A TEENAGE GIRL, with associate producers New Georges and The Essentials Org. Current shows include a co-production with The Public Theater of THE HUMAN SCALE, by Pulitzer Prize winning Lawrence Wright, directed by Oskar Eustis. The HUMAN SCALE opens at 3LD in the 2010 NEW YORKER FESTIVAL. 2011 shows will include a co-production with Affinity Theater Company of Sheila Schwartz’s new play entitled SPY GARBO.
3-LEGGED DOG Media + Theater Group owns and operates 3LD Art & Technology Center where it produces new, original works in theater, performance, media and hybrid forms. Their mission is to explore the narrative possibilities created by digital technology, and to provide an environment for curated resident artists to create new tools and modes of expression so that they can excel across a range of disciplines. With this residency program 3-Legged Dog has transformed a tightly knit producing company into an international community that directly facilitates the work of approximately 650 artists a year from 23 countries around the world.
3-Legged Dog’s own productions and installations have been seen at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Venice Biennale, Signature Theatre, The Kitchen, PS 122, La Mama, the Ontological Theater, and at their home 3LD Art & Technology Center. In 2011, 3-Legged Dog productions, Losing Something and Fire Island will be featured at the Prague Quadrennial Exhibition of Performance Design. The company has won numerous awards including the American Theater Wing’s Hewes Design Award and The Rockefeller Foundation Cultural Innovation Fund Award.

the cell is a Twenty First Century Salon whose mission is to incubate new works of art that mine the mind, pierce the heart and awaken the soul. Founded in 2007 by Nancy Manocherian and Kira Simring, the cell is a not-for-profit art space created to serve the artistic community by presenting a variety of media and creating collaborative opportunities for artists.

The Wild Project is a production company and venue for contemporary theater, film, and visual art. We hope to bring the community together by providing inspiring and entertaining art from emerging artists, exploring green technologies, and finding innovative ways to help our world and each other. The first theatre and gallery space in New York City to have a green roof with numerous varieties of plant species.
Wild Project has produced 33 To Nothing and co-produced The Secret Agenda of Trees, The Mystery of Claywoman, Accidentally Like A Martyr, Wild Man, W.O.(e).R.D. Women of Experience Read Downtown, Space Dance in the Tube performance and exhibition with Butoh Master Tetsuro Fukuhara and the film Peter & Vandy.
